How sites are chosen

We review Australian-facing online pokies sites that advertise a sign-up or no-deposit offer and publish terms we can read. A site is not added because it pays us, and a site is not removed because it does not.

How entries are written

Every entry follows the same method, set out on How we read the terms: three figures quoted from the operator, our arithmetic marked as ours, and a list of what the operator does not publish. Entries are not scored or ranked.

How entries are updated

Each entry carries the date its figures were read. We re-read every operator’s terms at least once a quarter, and sooner when a reader reports a change. A change is published as a dated rewrite, not a silent edit.

Affiliate commission

Some “Visit site” links are affiliate links: if a reader signs up through one, the operator may pay us a commission or revenue share. This never changes what an entry says, its position on a page, or whether a figure is published. Commission links are marked rel="sponsored".

Ownership

AusRooReview shares ownership with one operator reviewed here, Frenzy96, and with the comparison site AusRoo Pokies. The Frenzy96 entry is marked in its heading and written to the same rules as every other entry. See About us.

What we do not accept

Payment or free credit in exchange for changing an entry, removing a fact, or adding a recommendation.

Corrections

Report an error through Contact. We reply, check the operator’s current terms, and publish a dated correction if we were wrong.
